I thought I would post a little about how I make my glass pendants. There are tons of how to's on this all over the web. But still will post it anyway :)

Ok, so these are my supplies that I start with. I use scrabble tiles, dominos, and glass tiles. I have my images ready to go, as you can see in the picture.

I use Mod Podge matte finish to adhere my pictures to the surface of whatever piece I am working with. Some people just use their Diamond Glaze, or whatever they use, but I found that it was too slippery, and the Mod Podge really gave it stick.
I let the images dry to the piece. Once dry, this is the trick here...you take a nail file, and you file the edges of the image to the piece.
Once you have done that, then you can seal them with your Diamond Glaze and let them dry.
Voila!

I finally have my blog up and running! Yay! So this is my initial post to get things rolling.
As you can tell...I have an Etsy shop called Wimzy.
I sell all of my handmade jewelry there. I like to use up-cycled, and recycled materials.
I also sell jewelry findings as well.

What I like to create the most, are my altered art bracelets. I usually design them around things that I myself really take a liking to. So most of the images that i find and use are of things that I like, or that appeal to me personally.

I find some of the things I use to create my jewelry right on Etsy also. I have my favorite sellers there. I will perhaps share those at a later time :)

I also use Ebay as well. I have a store there too, but it is not called "Wimzy", it is called Dakota Rain Boutique.
On Ebay I can sell other items as well and not just handmade items. So I have a wider variety of things in my Ebay store.

Anyhow, this is going to be my introductory post, and now I have to get going. So later!
